Jordan St. John is a writer and educator within the beer industry. He is head of the Beer Specialist Certificate at George Brown College's Culinary School in Toronto and the author of five books in addition to being a contributor to LCBO Food & Drink Magazine and editor of Ontario's Craft Beer magazine: The Growler.

Jeff Broeders

Indie Ale House Brewery

He has been in the brewing industry since 2010.  Brewer of the Indie Alehouse since its inception in 2012.  Now overlook brewing operations of all 3 Indie Alehouse Breweries.

Sam Corbeil

Sawdust City Brewery

Speaker

A local Muskokan, Sam left the comfortable bosom of cottage country in the winter of 2006 to learn the art of brewing. After traveling to Berlin, Germany to study at the VLB, he returned to Canada and began working at a number of Ontario craft breweries. Sam finally came home to Muskoka in 2014 to help start Sawdust City Brewing Company. Over the following decade, Sam’s beers have become almost as well known in the Canadian craft beer scene as his mustache. Little known fact ... Sam can recite pi to 43 decimal places. It's added little to his quality of life, but dang if it ain't a fun party trick!

Erica McOustra

Steamwhistle/Beau's Brewery

Erica McOustra, Brewmaster at Steam Whistle Brewing in Toronto, received her education at the Versuchs- und Lehranstalt für Brauerei (VLB) Beer Institute in Berlin, Germany. Erica began her studies in beer over 20 years ago as a homebrewer before making her passion a career. She held positions at Magnotta and Amsterdam Breweries, before joining Steam Whistle in 2010. Over the years Erica has enjoyed contributing to the Master Brewers Association Technical Committee, the Niagara College Brewmaster/Brewery Operations Management Program advisory committee, and as a BJCP certified judge in various beer competitions. Erica brings this training and experience to her leadership in crafting Canada’s Premium Pilsner. 

Matt Tweedy

(Tooth & Nail Brewery)

Matt Tweedy is the Co-Founder and Brewing Director at Tooth and Nail Brewing Company in Ottawa. Opened in 2015, Tooth and Nail is known for producing lagers and ales of distinction and has established itself as one of Ontario's premier brewing operations. With an emphasis on quality and drinkability, Matt produces a wide variety of international styles to serve at his brewpub that he owns with his wife Dayna Guy.
