This is the definitive Belgian saison. The style was originally brewed in the spring to store for drinking through the summer, and in this beer Dupont Brewery captures that lineage perfectly. This wonderfully peppery, moderately bitter ale has a generous amount of hops (for a Belgian ale) and some degree of alcohol, both of which act as natural preservatives.
