Achel 8 Bruin

Style: Belgian Strong Ale (Trappist)
It's been a while since we've been able to import this beer, and boy, what a difference 7 years makes!  In the time since beerbistro first opened its doors, the Achel Trappists have matured from the new monks on the block to become some of the best brewers around.  Their bruin is a fizzy russet blend of fruit and roasted nuts with some caramel and a light bitterness thrown in just to balance the whole thing out.
