Alongside our seasonal draught overhaul are two points of note for this latest edition of the beerbistro book menu, or as some describe it, “Tolstoy wrote menus shorter than this”: Orval vintages and Firestone Walker.

Firestone Walker is a world-class brewery out of Paso Robles, California. Their ability to win medals at just about every competition they enter makes Michael Phelps look like that kid with the water wings taking up space in the fast lane. We’re ridiculously excited to be able to offer three of their best ales.

In addition, and in what we think is a first for Canada, our cellaring program has now let us release multiple vintages of the Trappist ale Orval. This is a beer that can be laid down for years like a fine wine, changing drastically as time goes by. Bars across Belgium pride themselves in offering different bottlings of this earthy, slightly tart and beautifully complex ale, and now we can do the same.
