High Road "The Bronan" Vermont-Style IPA

Ontario, 7.1% alc./vol.
Style: India pale ale

The beer family tree just keeps getting bushier with Vermont IPAs suddenly claiming their own branch. Beginning with The Alchemist’s Heady Topper and Holy Cow, their massive popularity led to seemingly the entire state trying to mimic these hazy, aroma-forward IPAs. Soon, breweries like Hill Farmstead and Lawson’s Finest Liquids were gaining worldwide respect for their mastery of what some were calling a new style. Now we have Ontario’s High Road Brewing with a wallop of an effort, further cementing the international definition of the Vermont IPA: golden and turbid, fruity and aromatic, finishing with a good dose of ‘thank God someone’s finally dialing back the bitterness’.
